overview & Curriculum

Over the summer of 2021, we at Equal Access Robotics were able to partner with ACFA to reach and teach coding to a group of middle and high school students from a rural village in Mali.

10-wEEK SYLLABUS

We structured and developed a modified version of our current Introduction to Coding (Java, Python) class for ACFA. The course is 10 weeks long instead of the usual 8, is solely focused on Java, and explores intermediate topics in such as polymorphism and specific sorts/searches. We also made a modified final project of a Guessing Game that would be easier to implement and test virtually.
